What is AmbTrack?

AmbTrack is a real-time coordination platform for urban emergency response. It gives ambulance crews, dispatch, hospitals, and traffic stakeholders a shared operational picture during a case — assignment, location, hospital readiness, and escalation in one place.

Is the Bangalore pilot live yet?

No. The platform has a tested software baseline, but a live pilot has not launched. We're working through the remaining provider, device, load, and operational-acceptance evidence before onboarding a named pilot cohort. Requesting a briefing starts that conversation — it does not enrol you in a live deployment.

How is location and patient data protected?

Passwords use bcrypt hashing, sessions use short-lived access tokens with refresh rotation, and access is scoped by role and case ownership. Clinical data is minimised by design. The full technical detail is in the project's published security documentation.

What happens if the app or network is unavailable?

The platform is a coordination aid, not a replacement for radio and phone procedures. Every pilot is trained on the direct-communication fallback before go-live, and degraded-network behaviour is part of the operational acceptance checklist.

Will this work in cities other than Bangalore?

The architecture supports multi-city expansion, but Bangalore is the current, and only, configured service area. Any expansion would follow its own evaluation and pilot process.
