1. Acceptance of these terms
By registering for, signing in to, or otherwise using AmbTrack, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookie and Local-Storage Notice, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use AmbTrack.
If you register or use AmbTrack on behalf of an organisation — a hospital, ambulance service, control centre, or government agency — you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
2. Definitions

3. What AmbTrack is
AmbTrack is an emergency coordination platform that connects ambulances, hospitals, traffic police, and control centres so they can work from one shared picture of an active response. It supports:
- ambulance location sharing during active duty;
- dispatch and case coordination from assignment to hospital handover;
- alerts to receiving hospitals and to traffic support along the route;
- a view of hospital availability;
- an operational and audit record of each response.
The features available to you depend on your role and your organisation’s configuration.
4. Not a substitute for emergency services or professional judgement
- AmbTrack is a support tool. It does not dispatch ambulances by itself, provide medical advice, or direct traffic.
- Dispatch authority, triage, clinical care, and traffic control remain with the responsible people and organisations, following their own protocols and applicable law.
- If the Platform is unavailable, slow, or shows information you doubt, fall back to your approved radio, telephone, and manual procedures. Do not delay a response waiting for the Platform.
- Members of the public must continue to call the official emergency number for help. AmbTrack is not a public emergency-calling service.
5. Eligibility and registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and be authorised personnel of a registered emergency-service organisation.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information, including a valid role credential such as a vehicle registration number, badge number, hospital registration number, or government authorisation code.
- You must verify your email address (and phone number where phone verification is enabled) before your account can be used.
- One account represents one individual. Shared or role-generic logins are not permitted.
6. Account approval and status
Because AmbTrack accounts carry access to live dispatch information, ambulance locations, and patient-handover data, every new account is created in a pending state and must be approved by an AmbTrack administrator (and, where applicable, confirmed by your organisation) before you can sign in. Approval is at our and your organisation’s discretion. We may decline, delay, or revoke approval, and we may set an account to suspended where these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached, a credential can no longer be verified, or your role ends.
7. Account security and responsibility
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Keep your password confidential. Do not share your sign-in details or let another person use your account.
- Use a device you control, and sign out on shared or public devices.
- An account may hold a limited number of active device sessions at a time; older sessions are signed out.
- Tell us immediately at support@ambtrack.in if you suspect unauthorised access. You can also end sessions and change your password from your account settings.
8. Organisation accounts and authority
- An organisation that enrols its personnel is responsible for keeping its list of authorised users current and for promptly telling us when a person leaves a role.
- The organisation is responsible for its personnel’s use of AmbTrack and for ensuring they are trained on their own emergency procedures.
- The organisation and AmbTrack will each comply with applicable data-protection law for the personal data each handles. Where AmbTrack acts as a processor for data an organisation controls, that arrangement is set out in a separate written agreement.
9. Acceptable use
Your use of AmbTrack must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, you must not use AmbTrack for non-emergency purposes, submit false dispatch or status information, attempt to access data outside your authorised role, disrupt or probe the Service, or misuse patient or caller data. Breaching the Acceptable Use Policy is a breach of these Terms.
10. Patient and caller data
- Enter only the patient and caller details the response requires, and keep them accurate.
- Access patient and caller data only for a case you are handling, and only for coordinating that response.
- Do not export, copy, photograph, message, or otherwise disclose patient or caller data outside the intended emergency-response workflow, except as your clinical or legal duties require.
- Handle any patient data you access in line with your organisation’s medical-records and confidentiality obligations.
11. Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Ambulance location is collected only while a crew member is signed in and on active duty, and is used to coordinate emergency response. By using AmbTrack you acknowledge that notice.
12. Availability, changes, and pilot status
- AmbTrack is provided during a closed pilot. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the pilot may be paused or ended.
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Maintenance, connectivity problems, provider outages, and events outside our control can affect availability.
- We may modify the Service for security, legal, or operational reasons, sometimes without notice.
- Location updates, alerts, and status information depend on device sensors, network conditions, and third-party services, and may be delayed or inaccurate.
13. Intellectual property
- AmbTrack, its software, design, and branding are owned by AmbTrack and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for authorised emergency-response purposes only.
- You must not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, create derivative works from, resell, or sublicense the Service, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
- As between you and AmbTrack, your organisation retains its rights in the operational Content it submits. You grant AmbTrack a licence to host, process, and use that Content to provide, secure, and improve the Service and to produce de-identified, aggregated statistics, and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback about AmbTrack, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use it without restriction or obligation to you.
15. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, poses a security or safety risk, has an unverifiable credential, or has been inactive for an extended period.
- Where practical and lawful we will give notice; where a breach is serious or a risk is immediate we may act first and notify afterwards.
- You may stop using AmbTrack at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support@ambtrack.in or using the in-app request. Deletion is subject to the retention and legal-hold rules in the Privacy Policy.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and general provisions — survive.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmbTrack is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that location or availability information will be accurate or current, or that defects will be corrected.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- AmbTrack, its founders, and its personnel are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of profits, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility.
- AmbTrack is not liable for outcomes of clinical, dispatch, traffic, or operational decisions made by users or their organisations, for delays or inaccuracies in location or status information, or for the acts or omissions of third-party networks or providers.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to AmbTrack for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 5,000. During the pilot the Service is provided free of charge, so amount (a) is typically zero.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence, or for fraud.
18. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless AmbTrack, its founders, and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your misuse of the Service, your infringement of a third party’s rights, or your violation of applicable law. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from AmbTrack’s own breach of these Terms or its proven negligence.
19. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or telecommunications failure, power failure, provider outage, natural disaster, epidemic, civil unrest, government action, or labour dispute.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service, the law, or our operating model changes. For a material change we will give registered users at least 14 days’ notice by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using AmbTrack and request account deletion. The dates at the top of this page show the current version.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the paragraph below, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
Before starting court proceedings, the parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute, first through our grievance process and then through a senior-level discussion, within 30 days of written notice of the dispute. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court.
22. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, with the documents they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and AmbTrack about the Service and replace any earlier understanding on that subject.
- Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted.
- No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to a successor operator of AmbTrack on notice to you.
- No agency. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship.
- Notices. We send notices to your registered email; you send notices to the contact addresses in section 23.
